Each year, we offer a solidarity trek in Morocco. This stay, both meaningful and a change of scenery, allows you to discover the Moroccan mountains while helping local communities. More than a simple trek, it is a true humanitarian trip in Morocco. For 10 to 12 days, you will experience an adventure rich in emotion, built on mutual support, meeting others, and respect for cultures.
🌍 A committed solidarity trip to support isolated villages
We co-organise this stay with an association from Haute-Savoie, to give meaning to every stage of the journey. Thanks to this collaboration, we can support isolated villages and the families living in remote rural areas of the High and Middle Atlas.
Over the years, our vision of solidarity tourism in the Atlas has helped several regions:
- the Happy Valley of Aït Bougmez and the Valley of Roses,
- the disaster-stricken villages of the Ounila and Amizmiz valleys,
- as well as the sheepfolds of the Middle Atlas.
For the next edition, we will take you to the nomads of Djebel Saghro, an exceptional region for its beauty and authenticity.
🎒 Simple, solidarity-based logistics
To give a concrete dimension to this humanitarian trip in Morocco, each participant prepares a collection including:
- clothing for adults and children,
- school supplies and toys,
- as well as a budget for purchasing food supplies. These items are then distributed into bags (around 15 bags for 15 families) to support isolated villages along our route.
In addition, some airlines make transport easier by offering free carriage for solidarity luggage. This is valuable support for the success of the mission.
🥾 An accessible stay at the heart of Atlas solidarity tourism
This type of trek is easy and friendly. Each day, we walk at a pace suited to encourage exchange, a fundamental pillar of solidarity tourism in the Atlas. In addition, 2 or 3 mules accompany the group and carry part of the donations. As for the rest, we transport it by vehicle from one accommodation to the next, which lightens the bags and ensures the smooth running of the itinerary.
👣 An authentic immersion in rural Morocco
Beyond the humanitarian trip in Morocco aspect, this stay offers a true cultural discovery. You will share traditional meals, sleep in local homes, and talk with villagers, for a genuine immersion in their daily life.
❤️ Solidarity trek in Morocco: an unforgettable human adventure
Taking part in a solidarity trek in Morocco is much more than a simple trip. You walk, of course, but you also contribute to a concrete project to support isolated villages.
